Enhancement | 18 | Imbue Noctis's weapon with the element his target is weakest to. Depletes tech bar by one. |
Gravisphere | 18 | Draw enemies in an area closer together with machinery by creating a gravitational field. Depletes tech bar by two. |
Impulse | 72 | Ambush enemies with a frontal, sweeping greatsword area attack. Depletes tech bar by three. |
Limit Break [Gladiolus] | 999 | Break limit on damage from Gladio's techniques. |
Limit Break [Ignis] | 999 | Break limit on damage from Ignis's techniques. |

Overwhelm | 18 | Concentrate ally attacks on a foe with devastating Deathblow strikes. Depletes the tech bar by two. |
Quick Tech | 333 | Accelerate tech bar replenishment rate. |
Recoil | 18 | Deal heavy damage with machinery by overloading its energy output. Depletes tech bar by two. |
Regroup | 8 | Bring all allies together in stalwart defense. Rescues from danger and restores HP quickly. Depletes tech bar by two. |
Royal Guard | 18 | Move to quickly guard Noctis with a shield. Depletes tech bar by one. |
Sagefire | 72 | Unleash a devastating fire attack with daggers. Depletes tech bar by three. |
Starshell | 8 | Draw enemy attention across a wide area with a firearm. Weakens daemons. Depletes tech bar by one. |
Tech Damage | 99 | Add to the tech bar when Noctis suffers damage. |
Tech Strike | 48 | Add to the tech bar when Noctis lands attacks. |
Trigger-Happy | 72 | Unleash a barrage at multiple enemies with a pair of firearms. Depletes tech bar by three. |

Airslip | 16 | Dodge enemy attacks in midair by holding the guard button. |
Airstep | 6 | Use the left stick and attack button to take a step in midair after attacking with a sword or polearm (costs MP), one time only. |
Airstride | 52 | Perform a second Airstep after a second midair attack with a sword or polearm. |
Blink | 16 | Phase through an enemy's attack without using MP by pressing the guard button at the last second. |
Blink Boost | 32 | Recover a bit of MP by blinking through attacks at the last second. |
Chained Fury | 10 | Boost damage dealt when unscathed during chain attacks. |
Daemon Destroyer | 24 | Warp-strike to break daemon appendages. |
Death Drop | 28 | From afar, press the attack button in midair to warp into range and strike down from above with a sword or polearm. |
Experimagic | 99 | Increase Noctis's MP by the number of levels he has gained. The effects of similar abilities no not stack. |
Impervious | 333 | Negate damage by guarding immediately after being hit. |
Light Phase | 8 | Reduce MP cost of phasing. |
Osmostrike | 52 | Recover MP when an aerial attack connects. |
Point-Blank Warp-Strike | 333 | Deliver a critical hit when warp-striking at close range. |
Stalker | 28 | Boost blindside damage. |
Static Edge | 64 | Significantly increase damage dealt after entering stasis. |
Super Stalker | 64 | Further boost blindside damage. |
Ultralight Phase | 32 | Further reduce MP cost of phasing. |
Warp Decoy | 48 | Leave a hologram to divert enemies after warping. |
Warp Factor | 24 | Boost warp-strike damage. |
Warp Factor II | 52 | Further boost warp-strike damage. |

First Shot | 6 | Gain first strike against a nearby enemy with a firearm. Adds to tech bar. |
Intercept | 64 | Protect the party leader from enemy attacks with a shield. |
Lancet | 18 | Deliver a counterattack and drain an enemy's HP with a polearm. |
Limitless Link | 999 | Break limit on link-strike damage. |
Link Up | 8 | Boost link-strike damage. |
Reflex | 6 | Deliver a powerful counterattack with a greatsword. Makes enemies flinch. |
Regenerate | 99 | Heal an ally with a hidden HP recovery item. |
Scintilla | 18 | Deliver a counterattack and stun enemies with a firearm. |
Sharp Shock | 99 | Boost Shock Drop damage. |
Shock Drop | 24 | Electrocute an enemy with machinery when Noctis attacks it in midair. |
Super Link Up | 32 | Further boost link-strike damage. |
Ultimate Deathblow | 99 | Deliver an utterly devastating blow to a vulnerable enemy. |
Venom Fang | 24 | Poison an enemy with daggers when Noctis chain attacks it. |

Expert Item Angler | 555 | Triple the items gained from fishing. |
Fitter Survival | 99 | 25% chance for Gladiolus to find double items after battle with his Survival skill. |
Fittest Survival | 999 | 50% for Gladiolus to find double items after battle with his Survival skill |
Happier Camping | 48 | Increases AP gained from camping to 3. |
Happy Camping | 20 | Increases AP gained from camping to 2. |

Lingering Aftertaste | 99 | Extends food effects from camp to the sunset of the next day. |

Roadlife | 99 | Gain 10 EXP every 0.54 miles traveled by car (does not apply to flying). |

Snapshot | 12 | Prompto takes a photo mid-battle. Up to 5 photos can be saved at a time. Photos are saved to auto-snapshots. Critical version takes a selfie. Costs 1 Tech Bar segment. |

Time-Restore | 48 | Restore the Wait Timer by defeating an enemy. |
Warp-Ambush | 18 | During Wait Mode, warp-strike an enemy not targeting Noctis to increase the likelihood of breaking its appendage. |
Warp-Punish | 99 | During Wait Mode. warp-strike an enemy with half or less of its HP remaining to increase damage inflicted. |
