In the events of Mobile Suit Narrative Gundam, Jona was an ensign for the Earth Federation and piloted the Narrative Gundam during the search for the Phenex Gundam in the so-called "Phoenix Hunt". In the Crossover UCE continuity, however, he is still part of the Earth Federation forces and is actively helping Uso Ewin and the League Militaire to finally stop the Zanscare Empire with his mobile suit, the Narrative Gundam B2-Packs.

Jona Basta's C0350 version is a powerful pilot for Blue Generic mobile suits that also happen to be ranged fighters. As long as the mobile suit is Blue, Generic, and has the EFF-Affiliated unit tag, he already gains an up to 346% ranged sense buff, which goes up to nearly 450% if it also happens to be a Prototype and a Gundam-type. EX damage, resistance buffs, and reaction buffs round out his kit (though the resistance buff only kicks in for Crossover UCE units, which are still rare as of this writing).
