Using the right healers can make or break a team in Gundam UC Engage, so you'll want the best healers on your team should the need for one arise. Read on to learn which units are the best healers, explanations as to why they are good, and when you should be using them.

The Victory 2 Assault Gundam, commonly referred to as the V2A Gundam or just V2A, is one of the most effective healers in the game. This is thanks to its EX skill, which heals the lowest HP unit of its team for 54% of their max HP.

While its heal only affects 1 unit at a time, it is more than twice as potent as the heals of other UR-rarity healers, and nearly 5x more potent than the GM (GR)'s AoE heal.

What separates the V2A from the rest is how, on top of its top-tier healing ability, it is also able to decrease the EX damage its entire team takes, is able to benefit from Perfect Guard, and deals respectable damage while being quite evasive as well. All these contribute to it being such a great all-arounder and an incredible utility unit.

The V2A is a great pick for pretty much any scenario, but thrives in keeping key defensive units like the Purple-O healthy. It might have trouble in battles where AoE damage is a problem, and you need to heal the entire team and not just 1 unit at a time.

The Methuss is a pretty decent healer and defensive support in general, thanks to its team-wide 18% max HP heal from its EX skill and the Regeneration status it grants all allies, which heals 7.2% of their max HP every 6 seconds for as long as it is alive. It also grants buffs that improve beam and projectile damage resistance by 11%.

What sets the Methuss apart is how these buffs are dramatically enhanced for Blue-type mobile suits. On top of the buffs we've mentioned above, Blue-type units get further buffs to these, which add up to a 12% max HP heal every 6 seconds, a 47% beam and projectile damage resistance, a 29% heal each time the Methuss uses its EX skill, and a revive mechanic that brings back a fallen unit with 45% of their max HP restored. At the time of writing, it is the only mobile suit that is capable of reviving fallen allies.

The Methuss is arguably the best defensive support if you have meta Blue-type units that serve as key pieces on your team, but is quite average if you don't team it up with strong Blue-types.

The GM (GR) is the game's best AoE healer for PvE at the time of writing, and it's an R-rarity unit too.

Its EX skill heals allies only for 11% of their HP, which really isn't much if you compare it to the other healers in the game. However, what makes it so special is its status as an R-rarity unit.

The biggest reason for the GM (GR)'s success is that it is extremely cheap to upgrade. It uses R Custom Tickets for Alteration, R body and weapon chips for Unit Enhancement, which are all extremely accessible resources that you likely have plenty of, or can buy tons of for not a lot of coins or other resources. R-rarity units also have low Unit Enhancement Pt. costs for UE allocation. This means that you could set its weapons' UE allocation all the way up for EX gauge recovery, allowing for very frequent EX skill usage.

Other reasons why it's so good include how it has 3 weapons, meaning it has a good weapon rotation, and the GM (GR) is quite easy to chance upon in the game's gacha banners, making it relatively easier to bring to Potential Lv. 5.

Once built to loop its EX skill well, the GM (GR) outperforms most healers in the game, regardless of rarity.

Other Mobile Suit Healers

The other healers in the game have been powercrept and are no longer in their prime. The best of these is the Nu Gundam (Green), whose AoE heals are accompanied by respectable damage, evasion, and a damage buff for all Green-type units. While it does have a damage cap increase, its damage output isn't really special by today's standards, and its heal is outclassed by the other 3 units we've discussed above, so while it's not exactly a weak mobile suit, it's no longer desirable to have on your team due to the presence of much more powerful units.

If the Green Nu is no longer really worth a spot on your team, then the same thing could be said for all the other healers we chose not to include on this list. The farther back a unit has been released, the more likely it is to be ineffective in today's Gundam UCE battlefields.
