What is the Amuro and Char Mode?

Story

Amuro and Char Mode is a narrative-based game mode focused on the rivalry of Amuro Ray and Char Aznable throughout the Universal Century. In this game mode, the player will retrace the steps of the long-spanning conflict between these two characters, from the start of the One Year War all the way to future events like Char's Rebellion.

The game mode features some fully animated sequences for pivotal moments in the plot, story-based scenarios, and mobile suit battles, and a narrative centered around Amuro Ray and Char Aznable.

Story-Based Battles and Scenarios

Char

The main challenges for players in this game mode are the story-based battles that appear.

These battles will have the player deploy different characters in the story in sorties to defeat the enemy. As a result, each battle has different mobile suits for the player to use.

In this game mode, the player cannot use their own mobile suits and will have to use the mobile suits present in the story. It is up to the player to optimize the use of the resources he gets in these different story battles to achieve victory.

Achievements

The game mode is a good source of diamonds for the player during their first playthrough.

Each completed scenario, battle, and movie will award the player 60 diamonds. With each chapter in the Amuro and Char Mode having at least three events for the player to interact with, the amount of diamonds they will get from participating in this game mode can quickly accumulate.

It is also important to remember that nothing has to be invested in this game mode. Any player can play the Amuro and Char Mode even if their mobile suits are not leveled due to the mode having unique team compositions and not costing any AP.
