Encirclement Breakthrough Battles Event

Event Overview

Encirclement Breakthrough Battles is a timed survival mode where the player must survive against hordes of Red mobile suits until the timer runs out. The event will end on December 18, 2024, at 10:59 a.m. Japanese Standard Time.

Encirclement Breakthrough Battles Information

In Encirclement Breakthrough Battles, your objective is to endure a relentless horde of Purple enemies for 120 seconds. This event is available in both Normal and Hard modes, each offering Event Medals as rewards. These medals can be used to pull rewards from the Medal Unit Assembly Box.

Normal mode consists of 3 levels and is very easy to beat. Clearing each level rewards MS and Pilot EXP and obtainable rewards consisting of Diamonds, a UR Custom ticket, Enhancement Program I, Operation Improvement Manual I, and additional Event Medals.

Hard mode, however, brings added difficulty, though it's not nearly as difficult as previous iterations. To earn 3 stars and collect all of the Diamond rewards, you must clear each level with just one mobile suit. That said, completing Hard mode with a full squad still yields Event Medals and obtainable rewards. For the best odds of winning and getting 3 stars, use durable mobile suits with either good defense or sustain that also have enough damage to take down multiple enemies. Mobile suits like the Yellow Sazabi, Dag Doll, Phenex, and the brand new Baund Doc are perfect for this event, as they not only have the defense or sustain to stay alive, but also deal additional damage to purple units.

How To Clear The Extra Stage

The extra stage of the hard mode is the event's biggest challenge, and clearing it will grant you a brand new title along with some coins. To get all three stars, you must clear the stage with 20 kills with just 1 Yellow-type mobile suit, 20 kills with just 1 Generic category MS, and 20 kills with just 1 UR rarity MS. The last condition is rather easy, but the first two are quite challenging if you don't have the recommended unit, which we'll talk about in a bit.

Luckily, you can separately earn each of the three stars, and it doesn't have to be one Generic Yellow-type mobile suit. Do note that this requires a good amount of investment on a mobile suit to clear, as this is high-level content. You'll want to be at maximum player and unit rank or at least close to it, high Custom Lv., some Transcendence and Potential Levels, Unit Enhancement, and Modules, all on top of having a good pilot to go along with your MS

For this installment, the new Baund Doc will be enough to clear this mission. Make sure to have it at high unit and Custom level, while also having Transcendent and Potential levels as high as you can. Having Jerid Messa as its pilot should make it much easier since he gives it accuracy buffs that help it land its attacks and a 20% Evasion boost that will make it more likely to survive for 120 seconds, though it's doable with other pilots who grant similar buffs. The Baund Doc should be able to clear all three objectives at once should it win.

Yellow Sazabi, Dag Doll, and Phenex can also clear all three objectives at once, and are well capable of clearing the Extra stage. However, you'll want to equip the Phenex with evasion modules, and the other two with an accuracy and HP module to help them deal with their evasive opponents easier. Phenex will do well with Jona as its pilot, but Yellow Sazabi and Dag Doll would rather have pilots that grant them high accuracy given that their signature pilots don't grant much in this regard.

If you can't clear the Extra stage, you'll only really miss out on the new title. Using skip tickets to farm the Extra stage will grant more or less the same amount of event medals as you would get from other Hard stages, so if you only want to grind for the fragments from the Total Event Medal Rewards, you may farm them from the other Hard stages instead.

Event Rewards

The Encirclement Breakthrough Battles event features Event Medals upon clearing each battle level which you can use to pull rewards from the Medal Unit Assembly Box. Additionally, you can also get MS blueprints for the Kampfer High Mobility as well as Michel Kano. You can also win Custom Tickets by hitting achievements, as well as pulling from the Medal Unit Assembly with Event Medals.

The blueprints and character pieces are especially important, as they can grant you tons of Rainbow Haro Coins, or greatly accelerate your Haro Farm progress.

Owning a Baund Dog and Jerid Messa will also grant a bonus to the Event Medals you can earn throughout the event. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire and Potential Unleash this UR mobile suit along with its signature pilot, so be sure to participate in this event!
