The Big One is a weapon trafficking Criminal Venture that sees you using the weapons you'll be selling in order to attract buyers from all over the world. These "tests" are time-limited exercises that will see you causing as much damage as possible in order to gain a target amount of money in terms of damage you cause.

Each of these activities – called Mayhems – will have their own individual target goal and will see you using a variety of weapons.

The Big One Completion Walkthrough

RPG Mayhem in West Providencia

Map Location In-Game Location
Rewards: 1500 XP, $ 3,000
Required Damage Cost: $ 3,000,000

The first "advertisement" of the Big One's offered weapons will involve the use of an RPG with unlimited ammo. You'll be heading into an area filled with vehicles from Los Panteros that you'll have to destroy one by one.

RPG Mayhem in Old Town West

Map Location In-Game Location
Rewards: 1500 XP, $ 3,000
Required Damage Cost: $ 2,750,000

The next activity will still involve an RPG, but this time against Idols assets at the square in Old Town West. This test will involve more Los Panteros backups – and consequently their vehicles – for you to destroy.

RPG Mayhem in Old Town East

Map Location In-Game Location
Rewards: 1500 XP, $ 3,000
Required Damage Cost: $ 2,000,000

Still involving an RPG, you will get to cause mayhem at an Idol camp in Old Town East. There are plenty of targets that you can destroy here, including Idol vehicles and tents to bump your rookie numbers up.

VTOL Mayhem in Smelterville East

Map Location In-Game Location
Rewards: 1500 XP, $ 3,000
Required Damage Cost: $ 4,000,000

This activity departs from the RPG and instead makes use of a VTOL aircraft. The targets for this activity aren't immediately obvious, but you can choose between gunning down Marshall equipment or the civilians driving on the roads around the area you start in.

Tank Mayhem in Smelterville East

Map Location In-Game Location
Rewards: 1500 XP, $ 3,000
Required Damage Cost: $ 6,000,000

Switching out from the VTOL, you'll be using a heavy Tank this time at Smelterville East. You'll be starting on a ramp that leads downwards from a high perch on a building, giving a clear view of things you can destroy on the ground below.

Attack Helicopter Mayhem in Lakeshore South

Map Location In-Game Location
Rewards: 1500 XP, $ 3,000
Required Damage Cost: $ 4,000,000

This last activity will make use of an attack helicopter in a similar set of circumstances as that of the VTOL activity. Choose between gunning down Marshall or civilian assets on this run to reach the target goal.

Meet with Sgt. Vicario

In-Game Location
Rewards: Completion Rewards

After completing the six activities you need for this Venture, head back to The Big One's building and talk to Sgt. Vicario to finish the Venture.

The Big One Tips and Strategies

Expand Your Damage

In some of the activities that you play through, it may be difficult to find enemy assets to destroy to add on to your money goals. In lieu of this, you can instead go around targeting everything else in your path, including civilian vehicles.

Enemies Count Too

Although the goals of the Mayhem activity makes it seem like only enemy assets such as vehicles will add on to your accumulated damage, you can actually target enemies themselves to add onto your money goal.

Shoot at Inconspicuous Things

Aside from expanding your damage output to civilian infrastructure, you can also destroy things that are simply there for decorative purposes around the map. Things like trees, balloons, and benches all add up to your goal.

In essence, anything that's breakable, shoot.
