How to Complete Pony Express

Avoid the Red Areas

The mini-map will show where police are lying in wait for you to cross their path. These areas are marked in red and should be avoided as much as possible!

This is relatively easy to do, but there will be instances where you'll have no choice but to confront these enemies. In those cases, you'll have to be quick to avoid getting knocked off track.

Take the Road Less Travelled

The path to the drop-off isn't marked and you'll need to make your own way there. For the most part, you can head off the road and just head straight for the quest marker.

There will be times though that you will have to stay off-road to avoid police, so don't be afraid to mix it up and take shortcuts!

Shoot or Avoid Callers

When you see the telephone symbol, you know more enemies will arrive. Shoot the caller or stomp on the gas to leave them in the dust. Leaving their vicinity will cancel the call.

Be Careful of Cliffs

While you could potentially get some air time and do cool tricks, not all cliffs and terrain are good for that. Drops can knock you off your vehicle or flip it over, leaving you stuck.

For the most part, avoid cliffs with no ramps, or very very rocky areas where you won't get much leverage.

Prepare for a Gun Fight

Whether it be on the road or at the drop-off, you are likely to encounter police and get shot at. Prepare your guns beforehand and snag some more ammo from enemies once you've downed them.

Use Terrain to Your Advantage

There are a number of ramps around the area, both man-made and natural, and these can be used to give the cops the slip or just to get ahead!

Stay in the Center in Urban Areas

Some Pony Express missions will require you to drive through the city. As much as possible, stay in the center of the road, this gives you some leeway for when enemies try to knock you off the road, or in worse cases, off of bridges.

Repeat When Done

Didn't finish objectives? Feel like grinding for more cash and EXP? Then you're in luck! You can easily do all those things by repeating the Side Hustle once again.

There is no limit to the number of times you can play this out! Just look for any Side Hustle with the repeat icon and trigger it again!
