Eliminate the Driver

Start off by killing the armored truck's driver. Most armored trucks are stationary when they spawn into the world, allowing you to line up easy headshots through their windows.

Armored trucks are marked on the minimap!

Keep an eye out for the armored truck icon on your map! These can pop up anywhere and are hard to miss when they do.

Lose the Cops

There's a good chance that the cops will arrive at the scene as soon as you enter the armored truck. Drive the truck as far away from where you picked it up. You'll eventually lose all notoriety points.

Sideswipes are recommended

Armored trucks, as their names suggest, can take a heavy beating! Don't be afraid to sideswipe pesky cops to make things easier.

Destroy the Armored Truck

Once the cops back off, find a secluded spot and destroy the armored truck. We recommend using RPGs since it only takes three rockets to the side to completely destroy armored trucks.

Grab the Cash

The cash inside the trucks drop to the ground as soon as they're destroyed. Pick them up by simply walking on top of them, similar to how you pick up ammo and cash from enemies!

Get as Much as 3,000 Cash

Robbing armored trucks is a great way of earning thousands of dollars in the early game without having to rely on Side Activities or Ventures that reward you with a higher payout. The activity loses its usefulness, however, once players gain access to more Ventures that gives out more cash per hour of gameplay.

Per truck that you rob, you can earn as much as $3,000 once you've managed to lose the cops and grab the cash, giving a substantial boost to your wallet.

Where to Find Armored Armored Trucks

El Dorado

Based on our testing, El Dorado seems to be the best place to farm Armored Trucks. They usually spawn around the banks and casinos within the area.
