Gwen is a Commanding Officer in Marshall Defense Industries, and was the Boss's superior during their short time in the company. She has a stern and strict attitude on the field, making sure plans go right and that insubordinate behavior gets punished. She also takes part in Santo Ileso's citywide LARP as Gwendolyn Firebird, the head of House Phoenix.

Gwen is a high-ranking officer in Marshall Defense Industries. She currently works as a Commanding Officer for fresh Marshall recruits. Gwen efficiently leads and oversees live operations, making sure things go according to plan no matter how the circumstances change.

Leader of House Phoenix

Outside work, Gwen takes on the role of Gwendolyn Firebird in Santo Ileso's citywide LARP: the Dustmoot. She is the leader of the infamous House Phoenix, which is poised to take this year's Dust Crown.

Story Role

Led the Assault on Silver Gulch

Gwen makes her first appearance during Marshall's assault on Silver Gulch to subdue the Nahualli. She leads the Boss and the other recruits through the abandoned Old West Town, where they eventually manage to corner the Nahualli inside the Saloon.

The Nahualli manages to escape by hijacking one of their VTOLs, but the Boss defies orders to chase them down. Despite being frustrated by the Boss's insubordinate behavior, Gwen supports them, and they eventually successfully capture the Nahualli.

First Fucking Day Walkthrough and Rewards

Sends the Boss to Tail a Panteros Convoy

Shortly after capturing the Nahualli, Gwen sends the Boss on another mission: to tail a Los Panteros convoy. She makes it clear that the Boss should only shadow them and follow her orders.

As the mission proceeds, things go sour when the leader of the Panteros, Sergio Velez, destroys their drone and chases them down. Due to the hectic situation, Gwen gives field command to the Boss, and they successfully manage to stop the convoy. Contrary to her usual behavior, Gwen praises and thanks the Boss after the operation ends.

Observe and Report Walkthrough and Rewards

Assault on Fort Phoenix

Later in the story, the Boss finds out that Gwen takes part in the Dustmoot LARP and is actually the head of House Phoenix. Wanting to irritate her, they decide to assault Fort Phoenix and steal their Bowelrod parts so that House Sandy Kraken can win the Dust Crown instead of their faction.

During the assault, the Saints call Gwen to inform her of their raid, much to her annoyance.

The Rod Warrior Walkthrough and Rewards

Defeat at Fort Thunderpump

To prevent House Sandy Kraken from winning in the LARP, Gwen decides to launch a sudden raid on Fort Thunderpump to defeat House Dust Storm and secure the Dust Crown. However, her assault is thwarted by the Boss when she loses to them in a duel inside the fort.

Gwen attempts to cheat by stating that she never got hit by their bullets but ultimately concedes after realizing her ridiculous behavior. She declares that she'll defeat the Boss and House Sandy Kraken next year.
