Let's Pretend is a Criminal Venture that mostly deals with Heists that you can do against certain buildings/organizations all around Santo Ileso. There are 10 total locations that you can hit, with each location having both a "scouting" and "Heist" section that each count towards the total Venture Progress.
Heists will often be just you sitting outside of the target area, waiting for the crew to rob the place blind. Your main priorities during the actual Heist are to hold off any enemies coming in and successfully getting the crew and yourself away from pursuiers.

At the right side of the building, head to the very back for another Camera beside the doorway. |
Once you begin the Heist, you will start off in the car with the rest of the crew getting out. You may exit the vehicle to prepare, as Cops will soon arrive on the scene. Kill them, then hop back into your car and drive out to the front. Get away from the Cops that give chase afterwards before the timer hits zero.

When the cops come, be prepared to take on shielded S.W.A.T. units as well as about several vehicles that will constantly bump and harass you once the chase begins. Follow the path down to a dry water channel until you reach an underpass, concluding the Heist.

The car chase for this Heist will be more difficult compared to all the prior ones thus far due to the shorter escape time, longer roads, and faster cop cars that give you chase. Use every tactic you wish to get the cars off of you, as the getaway vehicle you have for this Heist isn't the best.

The first photo you can take will be of the Main Entrance of the bank. | |
From the Main Entrance, head left and take a photo of the West Tower Entrance. | |

Turn around, cross the street, then take a photo of the East Tower Entrance. |
This last Heist features the toughest combat and car chase sections out of all the heists. For combat, Marshall Guards will come in to block either side of the street with turret-armed trucks or APCs. You can choose to either send rockets to either of the vehicles or snipe the ones manning the turrets with well-placed rifle shots.
For the car section, try not to drive into oncoming traffic as bumping into any vehicle will slow you down, leaving you with less time to work with due to the shorter time period to make your escape. Sideswipe any chasing vehicles that come after you, and if possible, destory them too to give yourself breathing room to escape.

After completing all the Heists, head back to Let's Pretend and enter the store. Talk to Joannie Utah afterward to complete this Criminal Venture.
During any of the Heists, you will be forced into a section where you will to escape the cops. It may be instinctual to veer off-road to try and throw them off, but it is actually better if you stick to the path marked down for you. This will lead you to ramps or other such exits that cuts chasing cars off from you, leading to successful escapes.
Lv | Skill | Description |
---|---|---|
4 | Proximity Mine | Place a sticky mine that explodes when enemies are near. Damage increases shortly after placement. |
6 | Tough Mother | Gain a temporary health boost to absorb damage from enemies and negate staggers. |
11 | Transfusion | While active, heal yourself and your friends by hurting your enemies. |
The first section of every Heist you start will see you battling against either the Cops or Marshalls. Certain Heists have small areas that makes it easy for you to see or guess which areas they may come from once the combat begins. Rig these areas with Proximity Mines to help take down your opponent's health or shields.
Tough Mother and Transfusion can also help you recoup any health you lose, particularly for the Heists in Monte Vista or Lakeshore North, where you'll come up against a larger amount of opponents than normal.
The cars you typically get for the Heists have bad handling on top of bad speed. The only real way you can avoid getting veered off track by sideswiping cars from chasing cops or Marshalls would be to sideswipe them yourself.
If possible, make sure you destroy their vehicles too, as this gives you enough time to travel peacefully before any more vehicles are spawned to chase you.

I’m not able to complete my Let’s Pretend ventures 6/11, in the Marina West area, the venture is glitched and doesn’t work. I can’t take pictures or do the heist, it’s frozen, and I’m unable to complete my ventures, it’s my last ventures to do and it’s pretty annoying that I can’t continue my ventures progress. Very disappointed in this Saints Row, it’s a Saints Row wanna be game full of bugs. Please fix. Other than the bugs it’s a decent game. Just please finish and fix the game.
