Recommended Difficulty

Tourist to Entrepreneur for Casual Play

Tourist

For players looking to enjoy the scenery and the story the game has to offer, playing on the Tourist might be the difficulty preset they are looking for when playing Saints Row. You deal tons of damage to enemies even with just your fists while any damage you take from them is miniscule.

Hustler

Hustler retains the damage you pack in your attacks, still dealing big damage to enemies. The difference from the previous difficulty preset is the increase in damage you take from enemies.

Gameplay feels similar to Tourist but encourages the player to be utilize movement and not just shoot at people as you stand still.

Entrepreneur

For players looking for a relatively casual experience but still want a challenge, Entrepreneur is the way to go. This is the game's default difficulty preset and puts the player against decent danger. Damage to enemies is still decent even without any big upgrades but the damage you take has been ramped up.

Sensei to Boss for Experienced Players

Sensei

For players looking for a challenge, playing on the Sensei preset might be the move as this difficulty makes your gameplay noticeably more challenging. Players might want to start looking into equipping skills and purchasing perks to help fighting enemies easier.

Boss

Boss is the most difficult game preset available and will test a player's skill in combat. Enemies to hit harder and are more durable in fights. Getting to Notoriety 4 by fighting faction members also brings out at least 4 minibosses.
