In the game, this place is an unlockable Criminal Venture where the Lore Master sends the Boss to burn the beacons of House Phoenix and House Dust Storm to show their strength and assert their dominance.

Like other Venture owners and managers, the Lore Master has no direct role in the Main Story of Saints Row. In the game, his role is to provide you with missions for the Castle Kraken Criminal Venture.

However, Castle Kraken is required to start The Rod Warrior and Unto the Breach and is also part of the 15 Ventures needed to finish the story, so you will have to complete the Lore Master's missions to reach the end of the game.
