How to Use the Tannery

Converts Hides to Leather

The sole purpose of a Tannery is to convert Hide to Leather. While you can obtain Hides via importing, gathering Hides from a Hunting Camp or Goat Shed is the best way to profit off of your Tannery.

Leather can be used to make Shoes for Clothing Variety, but can also be exported via the Trading Post to quickly generate regional wealth.
