Armorer's Workshop - How to Build and Use

Manor Lords - Armorer
The Armorer's Workshop is one of the Burgage buildings available in Manor Lords. Learn what the Armorer's Workshop does, how to build and upgrade the Armorer's Workshop, and tips on how to use the Armorer's Workshop effectively here!

Why is the Armorer's Workshop Not Working?

Needs More Resources

Manor Lords - Check Incoming Resources in the Building
If your Armorer's Workshop isn't producing any items, it could be because you're lacking the resources to craft them. Consider assigning more workers to a Mining Pit or Bloomery to make more Iron Slabs, or you could also import them via a Trading Post.

Pause Other Buildings That Use Iron Slabs

Manor Lords - Pause Building Production
Also, you should check if Iron Slabs are being used in other buildings, like a Smithy or a Blacksmith's Workshop. If they're using the Iron instead of your Armorer's Workshop, you can pause their production by selecting the building and clicking the pause button. This will reallocate your resources to an Armorer's Workshop, and you can craft the items you that need.

You can always unpause a building by selecting it again and re-clicking the pause button to resume production.

Armor is Used by Militia and Retinue

Manor Lords - Militia Also Uses Armor
If you're making a lot of armor pieces and they aren't showing up in a Storehouse or a Trading Post, it's because the armor is being used to upgrade your Militia's defenses. You can check if they're beings used for Militia by clicking on houses and looking under Armaments.

As a note, this doesn't apply to Plate Armor since you'll need to select to upgrade your Retinue in their customization tab, unlike Militia where it happens automatically.

If the Armorer's Workshop is not showing up, or it's greyed out, it's because you don't have the Basic Armormaking Development unlocked. You'll only be able to build this extension if that Development has been unlocked.

Advanced and Master Armormaking Required to Make Other Items

In case you're wondering why you can't make Mail or Plate Armor, it's because you'll also need the Advanced and Master Armormaking Developments respectively. Unlock these so that you can build these armor pieces to sell or upgrade your army.
