How to Complete

	Objectives
1	Talk to Umnak Head to Longnotch, east from Song's Edge, and talk to Umnak. He will tell you about a infamous machine he failed to kill. Hunt it down in his place.
2	Find the Claws Beneath Follow the marker and go north from Longnotch to get to the machine. Grab some crafting materials and stock up on ammo and potions before heading to the next objective, as it will be a tough fight.
3	Hunt the Claws Beneath Defeat the Claws Beneath, which is a Daemonic Rockbreaker, and fulfill Umnak's wish.
	Override the Control Tower (Recommended) There will be a Control Tower that will assist the Daemonic Rockbreaker in the fight. Override it first to stop it from functioning and make the encounter with the Daemonic Rockbreaker much easier to finish.
4	Return to Umnak Go back to Longnotch and tell Umnak the result of the hunt. The quest will end after he gives you the rewards.

Tips and Strategies

Kiling a Daemonic Rockbreaker

Focus on destroying the Daemonic Rockbreaker's Digging Arms to reduce its mobility and disable its ability to burrow underground. Using a Tearblaster or Tearblast Arrows can remove one of its Digging Arms in just one shot. Forcing the Rockbreaker to stay above ground will give you more opportunities to target its other weak points.

After pulling out all its Digging Arms, you can target the two Fuel Sacs on its body to trigger an explosion and inflict a burning effect on it. Destroy them one at a time to maximize the damage from the burning effect.

The Daemonic Rockbreaker's body is also vulnerable to freeze attacks. Take advantage of this weakness by hitting it with Freeze Arrows from your War Bow or Freeze Bombs from your Sling. While inflicted with the Freeze effect, all attacks to the Rockbreaker will deal extra damage.
