This guide will show you how to complete Collateral, an Errand in Horizon Zero Dawn. Read on to learn the quest objectives, strategies, location, and rewards for the Collateral Errand.

Collateral will still be available as an Errand that you can complete even if you choose to kill Olin in the City of the Sun main quest.
| Objectives | |

| 1 | Talk to Olin (Optional) If you chose to spare Olin, you can talk to him before exploring the Spurflints. He'll help guide you through the first objective. |
| 2 | Follow and Talk to Olin (Optional) You can follow and talk to Olin again to get more information on how to rescue his family. At this point you can choose if you want Olin to help you or do the objectives solo. |
| 3 |  Explore the Spurflints Go to the Spurflints and find a way to defeat the Ecplipse members defending the area. You can choose to attack directly, or opt for the stealth approach. |
| 4 |  Kill the Cultists and Find the Cellar Entrance Take out all of the Cultists in the area. Once clear, find a way into the Cellar to rescue Olin's family. Grab the key off of one of the Eclipse guards. |
| 5 |  Unlock the Cellar Doors and Talk to Olin's Wife After finding the key, unlock the cellar and talk to Olin's wife. If Olin is dead, the Errand will end at this point. |
| 6 |  Find Olin (If he's alive) After rescuing his family, talk to Olin and his wife to finish the Errand. |
The best way to attack the Cultists is by going to the rooftops and attacking them using arrows. Use the Concentration Skill to accurately aim headshots to take them down efficiently.
