This quest will start immediately once you get to the Banuk Encampment. You can find it in the northeast part of the map, surrounded by snowy mountains.

1 | Head to Banuk Encampment The quest will automatically start once you reach the Banuk Encampment. You can get to it by going to the northeast part of the map. |
2 | Investigate the Camp Use your Focus and point it towards the mountain, where a unidentified signal is being detected. |
3 | Head to the Unidentified Signal Parkour your way up the mountains until you reach the top. Make sure not to fall when climbing up, or it could be fatal! |
4 | Talk to Menuf and Bajund Go near Menuf and Bajund, just before where the unidentified signal is coming from, and talk to them. Head deeper on the mountain after talking to them. |
Speak with Garnund and Dorgeld Talk to Garnund and Dorgeld after speaking with Menuf and Bajund. They will leave after talking to them. |

5 | Examine the Artifact Use your Focus again to scan and examine the Artifact. It will show you bits of information about it. |
6 | Go back to the Camp and Defeat the Machines Head back to the camp once you finish examining the Artifact. You'll notice that it is getting attacked by angered Machines on your way down. Defend it together with the settlers by killing all the hostile Machines. |
7 | Talk to Tikuk Talk to Tikuk to finish the quest, and get the rewards. |
Kill the Scrappers first after heading down to the camp. It will be hard for you to take out the Ravager if other enemies are distracting and attacking you. A Sharpshot Bow will deal increased damage against their Radar part, so make sure to use it. Or you can use a Shock Arrow to their Power Cell behind their backs to stun them and kill them while they're unable to move.
