| 1 | Talk to Lorund and Smiling Ranin To begin the Errand, talk to Lorund and Smiling Ranin in Meridian Village to begin. They will give you two different objectives to do. |
| 2 | Gather a Longleg Lens (Optional) Take down a Longleg and get its lens. You can also skip this objective and choose to get one from a Snapmaw. |
| 3 | Gather a Snapmaw Lens (Optional) Take down a Snapmaw and get its lens. You can also skip this objective and choose to get one from a Longleg. |
| 4 |  Return to the Traders After getting one or both parts, return to the Traders to receive your Reward. One lens will give you a single reward box, while getting both lenses will give you an additional one. |
While giving one type of lens will finish the Errand early with half the rewards, giving both lenses will grant you an extra Reward Box. If you find Reward Boxes underwhelming, you can finish this Errand early without worrying too much.
Note: If you already have one or both lenses, you can immediately finish this quest.
