To unlock the Hammer and Steel Errand, you need to complete the City of the Sun main quest in Meridian, and the Heap of Trouble side quest in Free Heap.

| 1 | Talk to Kaeluf To begin the Errand, find Kaeluf in Free Heap. |
| 2 |  Talk to Petra (Optional) Before leaving Free Heap, you can talk to Petra and talk about Kaeluf's trade. |
| 3 |  Find and Talk to the Hunters Follow the marked location on the map to find the hunters and talk to them. |
| 4 |  Search the Convoy's Tracks and Follow Them After talking to the hunters, follow the marker to find the convoy tracks and follow them to your next objective. |
| 5 |  Gather 9 Behemoth Cables After finding the convoy, you need to kill Behemoths and get their cables. |
| 6 |  Talk to the Hunters After gathering the Behemoth Cables, talk to the hunters to finish the Errand. You can also choose to tell them that you can deliver the Behemoth Cables to Petra yourself. |
Use a Tearblast Arrows to break down their armor and remove the generator on their stomach. Shooting the canisters on the side of its head will make them explode and deal a lot of damage. The canisters on the back are also weakpoints that you can target.
You can also use Fire Arrows to deal extra damage and Ropecasters to slow them down.
