Description Sun-Priest Namman wants to usher in a new era of reconciliation between tribes by helping three pilgrims. Each wishes to mourn loved ones lost during the Red Raids, but obstacles stand in the way.

Talk to the Sun-Priest Namman in Meridian to start this quest. You can only get on this quest by finishing your investigation on Olin's House in The City of the Sun main quest.

1 Horizon Zero Dawn - Honor the Fallen - Talk to Namman.pngTalk to Namman
Look for Namman and talk to him. He will tell you about the shrines being inaccessible to the pilgrims. Help him out and start the quest.

Horizon Zero Dawn - Honor the Fallen - Go to the Sun
Go to the Sun's Climb
Go to the top of the Sun's Climb. You can find it east from Meridian and help the pilgrim mourn there.

Kill the Glinthawks
Make the area safe by killing all the Glinthawks flocking at the top. Use a Ropecaster and Fire Arrows to take them out quickly.

Talk to Kimik
Talk to Kimik after killing the Glinthawks. He will then paint the wall for the dead shamans.

Go to the Lake Shrine
Head east again from the Sun's Climb to get to the Lake Shrine. You will see two Snapmaws there.

Kill the Snapmaws to protect the shrine from danger. Set up traps and target their weak spots to kill them faster.

Talk to Brageld at the entrance to the shrine, and he will tell you about losing his loved one.

Tips and Strategies

Killing a Glinthawk

Horizon Zero Dawn - Honor the Fallen - Fire Arrows.png
Bring a Ropecaster with you to pin Glinthawks to the ground for the Sun's Climb portion of the quest. You can perform a Critical Hit on them once you ensnare them to kill them quickly.

You can also use Fire Arrows to ground them and perform a Critical Hit. They will also suffer continuous damage from the burning effect.

Killing a Snapmaw

Horizon Zero Dawn - Honor the Fallen - Blaze Canister.png
The Snapmaws you will encounter have armor plates on their Blaze Canisters. Remove them using Tearblast Arrows to expose them for follow up attacks. You can shoot the Blaze Canisters with a Fire Arrow to cause an explosion and take out a large portion of the Snapmaw's HP.

Alternatively, you can target the Freeze Sac below their neck to cause a freezing explosion that will stop their movements for a short while. Use that window to hit their other weak spots. Enemies take bonus damage while frozen, so deal as much damage as possilbe while the enemy is in this state.
