Ikrie's Challenge will only become available after finishing the Into the Frozen Wilds and The Survivor quests. You can start this quest by talking to Ikrie on the Snowchants Hunting Grounds.

Note: You can always take on this challenge even if you already get first place on it. However, you can't get the rewards multiple times.

How to Complete

	Objectives
1	Talk to Ikrie Go to the Snowchants Hunting Grounds and look for Ikrie. Talk to her, and she will explain the rules of the trial.
2	Start the Trial Once you grasp how the trial works, start it to begin the quest.
3	Kill the Machines There will be four waves and a total of 10 machines on this trial. The first wave will be 4 Daemonic Scrappers, the second wave will be 3 Grazers, the third wave will be 2 Tramplers, and the final wave will be a Daemonic Fire Bellowback. Clear all waves to get first place.
4	Leave the Hunting Grounds You can finish the quest after talking to Ikrie and leaving the hunting grounds after completing the trial regardless of rank. You can always retry to grab the rewards for higher ranks later on.

Tips and Strategies

Take your Time and Aim Carefully

The trial on this quest is not time-based. But you only have 5 Blaze Arrows, 30 Hunter Arrows, and 25 Hardpoint Arrows, and the challenge will end if you lose them all before defeating all of the machines. Take your time and accurately aim for the machines' weaknesses to conserve arrows and complete this challenge in 1st place.

Lure them to Ikrie

Don't try to fight the machines on your own, or you'll run out of arrows before finishing off all 10 machines. Kite the machines over to Ikrie so she can Freeze them. Frozen machines take more damage from your arrows for a short duration.

Killing Daemonic Scrappers

Defeat the Daemonic Scrappers using Hunter Arrows only and save your Hardpoint Arrows for the next set of stronger machines. Target their Radar and Power Cell to deal increased damage on them. The damage will multiply as well if you let Ikrie freeze them first!

Killing Grazers

You can take out Grazers easily by shooting a Fire Arrow at the Blaze Canisters on their backs. It will cause a large explosion, burning everything close by.

Killing Tramplers

The best time to use your limited supply of Hardpoint Arrows is against the Tramplers. Hit the Processing Unit on their bellies using Hardpoint Arrows to rupture it faster and cause an explosion that will burn them.

You can also attack the Power Cells on their back or their Excavation Horns to deal increased damage, but wait for Ikrie to Freeze them first to inflict even more damage.

Killing a Daemonic Fire Bellowback

The last machine you'll fight is a Daemonic Fire Bellowback. You should still have some Hardpoint Arrows at this time if you have been taking full advantage of Ikrie's Freezing debuff against the earlier waves of machines. Hit the Gullet and Cargo Sac with Hardpoint Arrows to cause two separate explosions and inflict the burning effect on it. Finish it off if it survives the explosions.
