How to Complete

	Objectives
1	Go into the Cave. Follow the displayed waypoinst and head deeper into the underground facility.
2	Examine the Strange Object. When prompted, examine the Focus worn by the corpse.
3	Find a Way out. Climb up the stairs towards the locked door. Turn right at the top and follow the path into the southern room.
4	Use the Device to Scan the Room. Use your Focus to scan the Code Nexus. This will show you the Holo Lock code.
5	Use the Holo Lock. Match the Holo Lock display to that of the Code Nexus (red segment facing down). This unlocks the way out.
6	Return to the Door and Open it. Return to the previously locked door and open it.
7	Find a Way out. Head deeper into the facility, following the waypoints as you go.
8	Scan the Device. Using your Focus, scan the hologram datapoint Happy Birthday Isaac!
9	Find a Way out. Proceed further into the facility. Follow the waypoints to reunite with Rost.

Tips and Strategies

Use the Focus to Collect Datapoints

For players looking to get all of the game's Collectibles, this is the first area that will have Audio Datapoint logs laying about.

Navigate to each one by paying attention to the box icon that appears in the compass radial. Scan them using your Focus to collect their data.

Return to the Area for Unique Loot

Some areas in the cave facility, notably the doorways blocked by stalagmites and stalactites, will not be accessible to young Aloy.

Make sure to keep them in mind for later as it is here that you will find your first Power Cell and Metal Flower.
