How to Locate the Devil's Thirst Tallneck
Using Your Focus
Once you have gone through the Main Embrace Gate, head north. While using your focus, Aloy will find a signal that is rerpesented by a pulsing purple dot. You can use this signal to locate the Tallneck.
Follow It's Tracks
Tallnecks, like many machines, will have a path to follow. When near enough, use your focus by clicking R3 and following the purple path. You'll also hear the loud footsteps of this machine.

Overriding the Devil's Thirst Tallneck
Take Out The Watchers
While the area has a few Grazers and Scrappers, your main concern with this Tallneck are the 3 Watchers in the area. Your best bet is to use the grass and call their attention, using stealth kills to lower their numbers.
Alternatively, you can opt to override one of them to fight for you and take care of the stragglers. Regardless, it's best to get rid of them before proceeding.
Find a Launch Point
Head to the 2nd floor of the ruined building, there are a few launch points available which Aloy will comment on so you'll know you're on the right track. One easy to spot point is on the north east side of the bulding, where a rusy piece of Stay here and wait until the Tallneck passes by. Once it's in front of you, jump and grab on!
Climb Up The Tallneck
Climbable areas will usually have marks in yellow, but you can also use your focus to highlight the climbable parts if you're having trouble spotting them.
Override the Tallneck With Your Spear
Now that the worst is over, step forward and use your spear to override the Tallneck. This will reveal a chunk of the map, along with the machine sites that you can find!
