You can get this quest automatically after entering the Citadel in Sunfall during the Deep Secrets of the Earth main quest. You will need to talk to Vanasha outside the settlement to find out more.

How to Complete

	Objectives
1	Talk to Vanasha Once getting the quest inside the Citadel, go out and talk to Vanasha.
2	Go to Three Dead Trees Head to Three Dead Trees where Uthid is according to Vanasha. Follow his tracks and help him.
3	Follow Tracks Use your Focus after getting to the Three Dead Trees and follow Uthid's tracks. Go up the mountain until you reach his camp.
4	Investigate Camp Use your Focus again and look for clues on Uthid's Camp. Examine the food scraps he left.
5	Follow Tracks Follow his tracks again and you'll end up seeing dead machines that he hunted down.
6	Kill the Glinthawks Glinthawks are attracted to the dead machine bodies. Kill all of them to proceed.
7	Talk to Uthid Follow his tracks one more time and talk to him to clear things up. A cutscene will then happen and mercenaries will come after the both of you.
8	Defeat 1st Wave the Mercenaries Most of the enemies on the first wave are melee fighters. Take them out before reaching you and Uthid.
	Defeat 2nd Wave the Mercenaries More enemies will come after beating the first wave of mercenaries. Some of them may try to use the zipline on the left side to attack you. Go up the mountain and follow Bahavas after klling them.
	Kill Bahavas Guards Kill Bahavas guards after dealing with the mercenaries. They have much higher health and damage output than the mercenaries, so be careful! A cutscene will play after that, and you will unlock the Queen's Gambit side quest. That will also be the end of this quest.

Tips and Strategies

Killing the Glinthawks

Glinthawks are all weak to fire. Bring Fire Arrows to shoot them and deal a Critical Hit on them while they are down. They will also suffer continuous damage while the burning effect is still active.

You can also bring a Ropecaster and use it against the Glinthawks to pin them down to the ground and do a Critical Hit.

Aim for the Head!

Go for headshots when battling with human enemies on this quest. It will help you kill them faster while saving a bit of your resources.
