How to Complete

	Objectives
1	Talk to Lahavis Go to Brightmarket and start this quest by talking to Lahavis on a wooden bridge.
2	Investigate the Garden Go to the Garden where his daughter was last seen. You can examine a couple of items there or you can go ahead and examine the shovel to continue.
3	Follow Tracks and Examine the Boathouse Use your Focus to track her. It will lead you to a boathouse near a river. Activate your Focus again to investigate the area, and you will see signs that she used a boat.
4	Swim to the nearby Island Once you examine the boathouse, swim to get to the nearby island on the other side. Use your Focus once more to track her and see her location.
5	Defeat the Snapmaw You will find Elida being cornered by a Snapmaw on the island. Defeat it to rescue her from danger.
6	Talk to Elida Talk to Elida and ask her to go back home. She will refuse. Look for clues in the camp in the meantime.
7	Investigate the Camp Use your Focus again to investigate the camp. Look towards the camp beds and examine them.
	Ask Elida about the Bed It looks like Elida wasn't alone on the island. She will then tell you about her Lover, Atral, and where to find him.
8	Go to the Smoke Signal Go to the smoke signal across the water not far from the island. Use your Focus once you reach the shore to continue tracking where Atral was taken.
9	Talk to Atral Following the tracks will lead you to a watchtower heavily guarded by Shadow Carja Soldiers. Atral is found chained on the 2nd floor, to the right of the staircase. Talk to him and he will give you a Key to give to Elida.
	Kill all the Shadow Carja Soldiers (Optional) You can choose to kill any remaining guards, and you might get some good loot from them.
10	Return to Elida Go back to Elida to report what has happened to Atral and give her the Key.
	Get Lahavis to talk to Elida Look for Lahavis and tell him to go to Elida to support her. That will be the end of the quest and you will receive your rewards.

Tips and Strategies

Burn the Blaze Canister

By using Fire Arrows on the Blaze Canister on the Snapmaw's neck, you can trigger an explosion that takes out a large portion of the Snapmaw's HP. Just make sure to get some distance before the explion goes off as this can also damage Aloy.

Destroy the Freeze Sac

You can destroy the Freeze Sac on the Snapmaw's chest to cause an Explosion that inflicts Freeze. Destroying the Freeze Sac also disable the Snapmaw's ability to shoot Freeze projectiles. Shoot it with Precision Arrows to take out the Freeze Sac, and deal as much damage as possible while the Snapmaw is inflicted with Freeze.

Go for Headshots and Stealth Kills

Deal more damage to the human enemies at the watchtower by aiming for headshots. Most of them will die in one shot, but there are some guards that are able to take two shots. Always prepare the next arrow, or use Double Shot skill to ensure a safe kill.

You can also try to get close to them and perform a Silent Strike to kill them instantly. However, It will be hard to pull off as most of them are moving in twos.
