Hell Plants Replaced With Ochu

In normal mode, Malboro would summon Hell Plants to aid it in the battle, but Great Malboro summons the stronger Ochu instead. Ochu have a wider range of attack and can take more hits so focus them down first.

Uses Firaga Instead of Blizzaga

Starting in Cycle 2, the regular Malboro would start casting Blizzaga, but the Great Malboro will use Firaga instead. You'll no longer be frozen by Blizzaga, but if you get burned your defense will drop. Taking a hit from an Ochu while burned can knock you out in a single hit if your stats aren't high enough so watch out.

Basic Strategy Remains the Same

The Great Malboro's attack patterns remain largely the same as its normal mode counterpart. Just avoid its breath attacks and stay on the move while whittling its HP down or bait its sucking attack while hitting it with magic from afar to take this nasty monster down.
