When you first enter the area, take the first left, then the first right, then go behind the large Carbuncle cocoon to find the opening along the wall.

Remembrance for a Carbuncle

Once you have completed the Lynari Desert and go through the mysterious Miasma Streaml, you will see a large green creature called a Carbuncle. You'll find many Carbuncles asleep in cocoons. One of them will only be pretending, and when you visit the next year, it will talk to you. Visit and talk to it for 6 years in a row to learn its story.
