If you make your way deeper into the dungeon, the first enemy you run into will drop a Cure magicite. You can find another in the second map by following the leftmost path.
Going to the left at the entrance will take you to a treasure chest with a random magicite as well.
List of Magicite and its Effects
After you defeat the enemy that was holding the Cure magicite you'll come across a wooden sign that will tell you to place the nearby pots of water into holes in the dungeon. Doing so will cause bridges to rise allowing you to proceed quicker.
If all of the pots happen to be broken, have no fear, as the bridges will still gradually rise on their own at a slower rate. In this situation you can pass the time by searching for other treasures.
In the second map you may run into a Goblin with a large sword. It won't attack players and if hit will drop its sword and run away. Said sword belongs to the boss of the area, the Iron Giant, and whether or not you attack the Goblin can give you an advantage in the fight.
Ultimately the Iron Giant isn't all too difficult so whether you attack the Goblin or not doesn't matter.
The Ogres in Mount Kilanda are vulnerable to Thunder spells so if you happen to have the magicite take advantage of this weakness. In the second map near the end of the middle path, one such Ogre also has a chance to drop a Fire Ring.
Get ferry discounts (eventually forever) from Tristan the ferryman, by giving him Kilanda Sulfur. You can get the item from the Treasure Chest in point 5. It may not be there the first time you try, so come back to check again.

Looking for friends to play Post-Game Dungeons with and farm rare Scrolls and Materials.
Region: US
Permanent Friend Code: 280318857487
Hello! A question regarding Bonus Points and Boss sets:
If I go to Tida on Cycle 3 in a Solo playthrough, do I need to reach the bonus points listed for 1P on the lists here to qualify for Set 8 to possibly drop?
I'm currently trying to farm for better gear and need the scroll for a Selkie acc, which Armstrong drops in set 8, but havent fully grasp the system behind Bonus Points and Set chances yet.
Thanks in advance!
