| Late Bloomer | 20 | Increases attack, defence, agility, and wisdom from round 3 onwards, and even more so from round 6. |
| Close Scraper | 40 | Sometimes allows the monster to survive at 1 HP after suffering an attack that would otherwise kill it. |
| (L) Tactical Trooper | 1 | Sometimes performs 2 actions in a row. The number of actions is not affected if you don't issue specific orders. Very slightly lowers the monster's attributes. |
| (L) Bigger Upper | 1 | Extends the duration of skills that raise the strength, defence, agility, or wisdom of allies to 5 turns. In addition, randomly grants invincibility, the ability to reflect spells or breath attacks, or raises evasion. |

| Intense Defense | 20 | Assumes an impenetrable defensive stance that reduces most damage received by 9/10. Can only be used once per battle. |
| Mist Me | 30 | Negates all damages 1 time only. Ineffective against certain attacks. |
| Selflessness | 50 | Receives all incoming attacks in place for allies for 1 round, but suffers greater damage in doing so. |
| Meditation | 75 | Restores 300 or more HP to the user. |
| Right as Rain | 100 | Performs a rainmaking ritual that invokes a healing shower in the next turn. Restores a random amount of HP to all allies. |
| Brake Wind | 150 | Reflects breath attacks back at the enemy. Protects all allies once only. |
| Wave of Relief | 200 | Cures of allies of their status ailments. |
| Rando-Relief | 200 | Monster sometimes casts Wave of Relief on itself during battle. |
