Accessory | How to Get |
---|---|
During the Shymore Invasion in Mushroom Kingdom, talk to the Vault Keeper Toad to receive the accessory. |
A member equipped with the Wake Up Pin will be protected from the Sleep status if targeted by Bowyer's Goodnight.
This can be obtained from the Vault Keeper Toad but only during the Shymore Invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom. This is good to have to make it much easier to manage who needs healing when they are put to sleep.
Bowyer's Static Electricity, together with his button locks, can make it troublesome to manage your party's HP since it deals large damage on all your party members.
The Tadpola Cola is useful to have in this fight since it heals each member of the party for 30 HP, and is more efficient than healing individual members. This item can be bought at the Juice Bar in Tadpole Pond with Coins.
Locked Action | Prioritize |
---|---|
A (Attack) |
Special Moves |
Y (Magic) | Physical Attacks |
X (Items) |
Physical Attacks or Special Moves |
While either buttons Y or X are unlocked, make sure to keep your party members healed up!
Bowyer lock any one of the player's button controls except B. When this happens, you cannot use certain actions. For example, he can lock you out from the ability to attack, so you will have to rely on other options such as items or special attacks.
Take note of this when using healing moves and items, since you may lose access to that when Bowyer starts locking your controls.
The pattern that Bowyer locks can oftentimes depend on what is usually used. For example, it has been observed that using the Defend (B) option repeatedly will lead to Bowyer always locking the Items (X) button.
Another is frequently using the Attack (A) option raises Bowyer's tendency to lock you out from using attacks. Keep this in mind when fighting him, since he can be baited to give you an idea when to attack and defend.
Special Move | Timed Hit |
---|---|
Geno Beam | Hold the A button until there are 5 stars to increase the damage dealt by the Special Move. |
Bowyer has no weakness, so it is recommended to attack him using Geno's Geno Beam since it deals good damage while being efficient in FP.
You can deal more damage with the special move by holding the command button until the fifth star appears at the bottom of the screen!
Best Special Moves for Each Character
After you bring down his health enough, Bowyer will lock all the buttons but you will unlock the new ability to use Triple Moves. For this portion of the fight, your Action Gauge will be automatically filled to 100%.
When your Action gauge is full, you can access your Triples Moves with the minus (-) button. Select Star Riders to deal a final heavy blow!
