Pleaseno and Jinnie are capable of inflicting Sleep and Fear through their specials Scream and Aurora Flash, so make sure you can get your hands on some protective accessories to make your fights easier.

Prioritize Jinnie When Summoned

When the battle starts, only Pleaseno will be present in battle. Damaging him enough will cause Jinnie to be summoned.

Focus on defeating Jinnie during this time since he has dangerous special attacks like Meteor Blast, and Aurora Flash which can cause party members to fall asleep.

Use Jump and Ice Attacks

Special Move	Effect
Ultra Jump (Mario)	・Press the button upon landing on an enemy to turn the move into a multi-target attack.
Snowy (Mallow)	・Rotate the left stick to increase the damage dealt by the move.

Both enemies are weak to Jump attacks, with Jinnie being also weak to Ice, so Mario's Ultra Jump special move will come super handy in this fight.

Use timed action commands with Jump attacks to deal as much damage as possible!

For Pleaseno, his Scream is his most dangerous move. It is capable of instilling Fear into a party member, cutting their attack and defense to half.

Jinnie's Aurora Flash can cast Sleep on your whole party. Having protective equipment like the Safety Ring can prevent the wearer from being affected.
