Southwest of Quatford, across the river you'll find the Uriconium Ruins. The opening to a large pathway beneath the mountain is to the west of the ruins leading all the way up to the beast.

Tips & Tricks

The bear is a very easy hunt. The only thing you need to watch out for are the times when the bear tries to heal itself.

Stay on its Back

The bear is pretty slow. Staying behind it allows you inflict damage safely and avoid its swipes when it tries to face you.

Stop its Healing

Beast of the Hills No Heal.png

The bear will try to heal itself every once in a while once you've inflicted enough damage to it. This is the time to go all out on the attack!

Use Poison Strike

Beast of the Hills Poison.png

Use your ability Poison Strike to inflict lasting extra damage over time. This reduces the time you'll have to allot into fighting this beast.
