Tips & Tricks

Black Shuck Complete.png
The fight is fairly simple enough to finish easily. Black Shuck has three primary attacks with key behaviors: a simple lunging attack, a delayed lunge that bursts into three quick bites, and a lunge coming off from a long lap around you if you've damaged it enough.

Use Poisoned Arrows

Although not that efficient, the poisoned arrows will help you shed some health from Black Shuck's health bar as the fight progresses.

Time Your Dodges

Black Shuck Dodge.png
The beast tends to move around a lot. Timing your dodges or parries wrong can mean a sizable chunk of your health to be removed by your enemy. Having the Brush With Death skill proves to be quite handy in this fight, as it slows the dog and time down.

Use Your Arrows

There is a point during the conflict where the dog moves away to go to a corner and prepares to charge you. This is the perfect opportunity to target it with more arrows from afar and hit its weak points for the possibility of a stun attack.
