Defense Scarf does not have any additional effects like most accessories. Instead, it only gives +15 points to Defense and Magic Defense.

How to Get Defense Scarf

Climb to the Top of the Green Vine in Bean Valley

Super Mario RPG Remake - Climb the Leftmost Route in Bean Valley

Climb up the vines at Bean Valley en route to Nimbus Land. Climb the vines in this order: Blue → Red → Yellow until you reach the top of the yellow vine.

At the top of the yellow vine, jump up to reveal the invisible platform. Jump and climb to the top of the red vine and jump to the invisible platform.

Jump towards the green vine and climb to the top to find the Defense Scarf and a Frog Coin from the treasure chest.
