In the Pipe Vault, there is a Frog Coin underneath a gap; to obtain it, you'll need to do a duck and slide maneuver, a mechanic that you might recognize from 2D Mario games.
First, you'll need to run towards the gap from the left side. Put some distance between your initial position to the gap, then hold your control stick up and right (↗) to run towards the gap.
As you reach the gap, turn your control stick down and right (↘); you'll need to time this correctly. If successful, Mario will duck towards under the gap and continue sliding to the right, earning you the Frog Coin.
If you find that you can't perform this maneuver, don't worry! There are ways to farm Frog Coins elsewhere. This is the only time in the game where you need to this maneuver; it's a simple easter egg paying homage to the 2D Mario games (if you've noticed, the whole level is structured like a 2D game).
