It is a known bug that there's a cave in Mos Algo where you cannot squeeze through a gap even after destroying the boulder that is blocking it.
This is problematic since the Lost Sandcrawler treasures are located in the area behind the gap. Also, the last miner's diary needed to resolve the Repulsor Train is also located in the area.
Fortunately, there is an alternative route near the Landing Zone of Mos Algo that you can use to access the area and get the treasures in case you encounter this bug!
1 | Go to Mos Algo's Landing Zone |
---|---|
Teleport to the Landing Zone in Mos Algo, Tatooine if you unlocked it already. Then, go to the player's location as shown above. Climb up the route until you reach its peak. |
|
2 | Use Your Grappling Hook to Cross a Bridge |
Use your grappling hook to cross the broken bridge. Land at the spot shown above so that you do not accidentally fall and die. Continue progressing the route until you see the ladder shown below. |
|
3 | Go Down the ladder |
Go down the ladder and head to the rock shown above. Use the Power module of your blaster to destroy it. After destroying the rock, you can now access the Lost Sandcrawler Treasure 1 and open it. |
|
4 | Have Nix Open the Locked Door |
After opening the Lost Sandcrawler Treasure 1, head to the gate shown above. Then, look to your left to spot a Power Cell and button inside another room. Shoot the Power Cell using the Ion module of your blaster and then command Nix to press the button. If done properly, the locked door in front of Kay will open. |
|
5 | Have Nix Open the Shutter |
After gaining access to the room where a miner's diary to progress Repulsor Train is located, command Nix again to open a shutter. Then, shoot the Power Cell using your blaster's Ion Module for another locked door to open. |
|
6 | Go Down a Hole |
Finally, go down a hole inside the room you have unlocked, and then go to the spot above to open the Lost Sandcrawler Treasure 2. |
Bug "fix" doesn't work for me. I see the grapple point, but it never gives me the option to do the command (R3) to latch to it no matter what angle I try... or even trying to run and jump to it.

As with Cameron’s post, the alternate route does not work for me either. Its glows when “Nix echo” button is pressed but no icon to actually use it.
