The S&S M232 is the best handgun that Grace can use, a straight up upgrade over the B934. After taking stabilizers, you can consistently stagger normal zombies with a well-placed shot to any weak point, guaranteeing a melee follow-up.
You can find it relatively early in the game, at a counter in Care Center's Bar and Lounge, which is located in the West Wing.

The Requiem is Grace's best option when things get hairy. It offers high damage and penetration, but it re-centers slowly due to Grace's inexperience with weapons.
Though it should be used sparingly, its reliability is unmatched, as it can kill most zombies with a single shot, and can reliably stun The Girl.

The Kotetsu is the best knife for Grace due to the simple fact that it never breaks. This means Grace can swing the Kotetsu as much as she wants without needing to craft more knives or pick them up.

| 1.5 | 3 | 2.6 | 3.5 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 4 | 17 | 0 | |||||||||
The Silencer 9 is the best handgun Leon can use when fully upgraded thanks to its balance of good damage, stability, and instant centering speed.
Its huge ammo capacity makes it perfect for dealing with numerous normal zombies, able to fire off multiple shots in quick succession without needing to re-center after every shot.
990-TAC
|
|||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | Stability | Precision | Rate of Fire | ||||||||
| 3 | 1.8 | 2 | 2.3 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 1.5 | 9 | 0 | |||||||||
The 990-TAC has a lot going for it, mainly its semi-automatic feature, which enables it to fire multiple shells, setting it apart from pump-action shotguns.
Additionally, the 990-TAC's purchasable upgrades provide the tightest spread among shotguns, making it a formidable weapon for close and medium ranges.
Classic 70
|
|||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | Stability | Precision | Rate of Fire | ||||||||
| 3.1 | 2.5 | 4.5 | 0.5 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 0.5 | 6 | 0 | |||||||||
The Classic 70 provides the highest damage per shot, at the cost of it's inherent bolt-action animation and slow reload speed.
It's attachable scope lets players snipe targets down range, while removing it and equipping the BSAA charm enables it to become a formidable close-range weapon, despite its drawbacks.
Clatter Carbine
(Post-Game) |
|||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | Stability | Precision | Rate of Fire | ||||||||
| 2 | 4.3 | 3.8 | 3.8 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 3 | 40 | 0 | |||||||||
The Clatter Carbine is simply better than all the submachine guns available. It has the highest damage, stability, and precision of any submachine gun.
Its only downside is that it becomes available only after you finish the game once.

Ghost Grudge
(Post-Game) |
|||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | Stability | Precision | Rate of Fire | ||||||||
| 4.5 | 2.3 | 2.5 | 3 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 1 | 0 | 0 | |||||||||
Despite the Requiem having marginally better stats when fully upgraded, the Ghost Grudge beats the Requiem by having a much-faster centering speed.
This allows Leon to land more shots much faster during fights, especially during boss battles where you have to reposition often to avoid attacks.
Mortal Edge
(Post-Game) |
|||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | Stability | Precision | Rate of Fire | ||||||||
| 2.5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 0 | 0 | 4 | |||||||||
The Mortal Edge surpasses the Hatchet thanks to the combination of higher base stats, as well as having a much more forgiving parry window.
The Mortal Edge's parry is more lenient, which is invaluable given that Leon's combat sections include plenty of close-range combat encounters.

Redemption
(Post-Game) |
|||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | Stability | Precision | Rate of Fire | ||||||||
| 4.3 | 2.8 | 3.8 | 0.5 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 2 | 1 | 0 | |||||||||
The Redemption is a powerful break-action pistol that can only fire one shot before needing to be reloaded. Despite this obvious drawback, it more than makes up for it with its sheer firepower.
Consequently, it is the perfect weapon to use with the Power Shades charm, as this increases its damage consistently without requiring you to wait for the last bullet, since there is only one round in the chamber.
RPG-7
(Post-Game) |
|||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Power | Stability | Precision | Rate of Fire | ||||||||
| 5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | ||||||||
| Reload Speed | Ammo Capacity | Durability | |||||||||
| 0 | 0 | 0 | |||||||||
The RPG is back and fires a devastating rocket round that can take out most targets with a single shot and deal high damage to the surrounding area.
Its hefty price tag limits its usage, so it is best paired with Infinite Ammo once unlocked.
