The Classic 70 sacrifices flexibility for sheer raw firepower, as it is the hardest hitting Sniper Rifle available in the game. It is capable of dispatching most foes with a single shot, and it performs quite well even against bosses.
Its slow, single-reload, bolt-action mechanism demands proper timing and positioning during fights. It rewards patient players who land well-placed shots on targets.
Its true potential shines when equipped with the BSAA Emblem Charm. Its damage is increased but it comes with the drawback of restricting the use of a scope. It transforms the weapon into a formidable close-range weapon without compromising its long-range capabilities.

The Classic 70 is obtained by default at the beginning of Leon's scenario in the Care Center Courtyard. Leon is given the Classic 70 at the beginning of the section to protect Grace from multiple enemies.
