How to Save as Leon

Leon has limited saving capability during the early game of Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). Read on to learn how to save your game when playing as Leon and when manual saves start becoming available for him.

Only Autosaves Available at the Care Center

Unfortunately, there is no way to manually save as Leon while at the Care Center. This means you'll have to rely on checkpoints so autosaves can kick in. The inability to manually save is probably due to how short his segments are in the Care Center and Water Treatment Plant.

Laptops for Manual Saves Appear in Raccoon City

Laptop Saves as Leon

Much later in the game, you'll eventually return to Raccoon City as Leon. During this stretch of RE Requiem, manual saves become available for Leon via Laptops scattered around the map. Similar to Grace's typewriters, simply interact with a laptop to create a manual save.

All Save Point Locations

Manual Saving Becomes Available During the 2nd Playthrough

After completing your first playthrough, manual saves become available for Leon by default when starting a new run. Laptops will start appearing as early as the Prologue.
