Is Sherry Birikin in RE9?

Sherry Birkin returns as a DSO agent, who provides Leon intel on his mission in the game.
Leon's mission is to investigate the string of deaths of other Raccoon City survivors caused by the late onset of T-Virus infection, which is the same infection that Leon and Sherry are suffering from currently.
Infected with the Raccoon City Syndrome
Sherry, alongside Leon, is infected with the Raccoon City Syndrome, which is a fatal, progressive disease caused by a latent strain of T-Virus that infected the survivors of the 1998 Raccoon City incident, where Sherry and Leon met.
The infection causes bruise-like marks that gradually spread around the host's body. Sherry and Leon are investigating why they're suddenly infected by the dormant T-virus strain in their bodies.
Who is Sherry Birkin?
Fellow Raccoon City Survivor
She is a central character in Resident Evil 2 who took shelter in the Raccoon City Police Department during the outbreak. She meets Claire Redfield during the outbreak and ends up being protected and escorted by her.
They eventually meet Leon during the incident where they escape together via an underground train.
Has Regenerative Abilities
Sherry is the daughter of Umbrella scientists William and Annette Birkin, who are both important characters in the game. William injected himself with the G-virus, which transformed him into a mutated monster, and eventually implanted his daughter with the G-embryo.
Sherry eventually gets injected by Claire Redfield with the DEVIL vaccine, stopping her G-Virus mutation, but residual traces of the virus remain causing her to have accelerated healing and slowed aging.
It is still unknown why her abilities didn't stop her Raccoon City Syndrome from developing.
The Reason Why Leon Became a DSO Agent

Sherry is one of the reasons why Leon was forced to become a DSO agent for the US Government. The government tried to threaten Leon by telling him that they would experiment on Sherry due to the G-virus strain inside her body if he didn't join the agency.
Later in Resident Evil 6, Sherry also becomes a fellow DSO agent and meets Leon during its story. They share a platonic bond, with Sherry viewing Leon as a life-saving mentor.
