
This is a Wrenwood walkthrough for Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). Read on for a walkthrough of Wrenwood Hotel and Main Street, and how to complete the area.

Once you get in control of Grace for the first time, move forward and follow the on-screen tutorials. A cutscene will play once you reach the path leading to the Wrenwood Hotel.

| 1 | ![]() Follow the alley path until you reach the back entrance of the hotel, which is marked with ripped down police barricade tapes. |
| 2 | ![]() Enter the building and pass through the kitchen until you reach the Lounge & Bar. |
| 3 | ![]() Examine the phtoto taped on the pillar of the bar. Rotate it to look at the back of the photo to get an Old Key. |

| 1 | ![]() Use the Old Key on the door to the side of the bar. Room 204 is located on the second floor, so use the stairs to get there. |
| 2 | ![]() On the second floor, examine the box on the pool table to get the Wire Cutters. Tip: Take note of the Fire Exit here. |
| 3 | ![]() Cut the wires on the door using the Wire Cutters to open up the hallway leading to Room 204. |
| 4 | ![]() Walk through the hallway until you reach Room 204 at the end. Enter the room then examine the photos on the bed. When prompted to look around, move the camera to your upper right and inspect the particular photo to progress. |

This section will mostly be cutscene and is linear. Simply follow Alyssa and run when prompted.

| 1 | ![]() After the cutscence, return to the Lobby downstairs and approach the painting to the wall opposite of the reception desk. Interact with the luggage cart, afterwards you'll get a leather portfolio. |
| 2 | ![]() Inspect the leather portfolio to get Alyssa's Journal, then read it. Continue inspecting the portfolio until you get a disk drive. A cutscene will play out afterwards. |
| 3 | ![]() During the story progression, you will be thrust into a dodging scenario where you'll have to avoid the shotgun at close range. Hold the Interact button to free yourself from being stuck on the luggage cart. When the the police officer shoots, move to the other direction of his aim to avoid being hit. You cannot evade and free yourself at the same time, so continue holding the Interact button after evading. |
| 4 | ![]() Once you've freed yourself from the cart, you'll automatically get the Emergency Exit Key and then a fire poker. Press the Attack button when prompted to resist. |
| 5 | ![]() When you finally gain complete control again, quickly run upstairs towards the Emergency Exit door on the second floor. Interact with the door and Grace will automatically use the key you obtained earlier. This ends the Grace part in Wrenwood. |

| 1 | ![]() After the cutscenes, you will now gain contol of Leon for the first time. Follow the path ahead until you're thrust into a fight with your first enemy. Continue forward and eliminate all the enemies you encounter. |
| 2 | ![]() On the intersection, turn to the right where you see the people running away and proceed to where they're coming from. When an enemy gets too close, press the Attack button to use a Melee weapon. |
| 3 | ![]() Continue following the path and pick up items along the way. You can use the Requiem on this part, but you can also save and use it on the next area. |
| 4 | ![]() Keep running forward until you cross the second intersection and trigger a cutscene, ending Leon's part in Wrenwood. |

You guys should specify which difficulty you played on for this walkthrough, as casual is vastly different from Standard: Modern/Classic. While the walkthrough does the job, there are many points throughout that are not mentioned because you presumably played on casual. If you did mention your own difficulty and I missed it, then that's on me though.
