This is a Wrenwood walkthrough for Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). Read on for a walkthrough of Wrenwood Hotel and Main Street, and how to complete the area.

Head to the Wrenwood Hotel

Walkthrough
1 Once you get in control of Grace for the first time, move forward and follow the on-screen tutorials.

Wrenwood City Guide
Examine the Wrenwood City Guide on the Information Board.

Note: You can also check out the poster of missing persons on the wall of a closed street shop, however it will not be included in your files. There will be several items in the game that you can inspect, but not all of them will be or have Key Items.

Investigate the Crime Scene

Walkthrough
1 Follow the alley path until you reach the back entrance of the hotel, which is marked with ripped down police barricade tapes.

Investigation Report
Open your inventory and examine the Investigation Report. Zoom in and rotate until you can interact with it to read its contents. You will have to do these with the other files you find in the game as well.
3 Enter the building and keep heading inside until you reach the Lounge & Bar.

Photo on the Bar
Examine the phtoto taped on the pillar of the bar. Rotate it to look at the back of the photo to get an Old Key.

Head to Room 204

Walkthrough

Old Key Door
Use the Old Key on the door to the side of the bar.

Hotel Pamphlet
Walk to the end of the path to reach the Lobby. Examine the Hotel Pamphlet on the floor.
3 Go behind reception desk and enter the door beside it to get to the Office.

Blue Desk
Open the top drawer of the blue desk to find a Notice of Closure.

Wrenwood Hotel Map
Next, examine the frame on the wall to get the Wrenwood Hotel Floor Plan. Afterwards, head upstairs.

Wire Cutters
On the second floor, examine the box on the pool table to get the Wire Cutters.

Tip: Take note of the Fire Exit here.
7 Go to the door at the end of the room and use the Wire Cutters to open it.
Inspect Photo
Follow the hallway until you reach Room 204 at the end of the path. Enter the room then examine the photos on the bed. When prompted to look around, move the camera to your upper right and inspect the particular photo to progress.

Escape from the Hotel

Follow Alyssa

This section will mostly be cutscene and is linear. Simply follow Alyssa and run when prompted.

Find What Alyssa Hid

Walkthrough

After the cutscence, return to the Lobby downstairs and approach the painting to the wall opposite of the reception desk. Interact with the luggage cart, afterwards you'll get a leather portfolio.

Inspect the leather portfolio to get Alyssa's Journal, then read it. Continue inspecting the portfolio until you get a disk drive. A cutscene will play out afterwards.

Get Free and Evade
During the story progression, you will be thrust into a quick-time event (QTE) scenario where you'll have to follow the prompts to continue.

Hold the Interact button to free yourself from being stuck on the luggage cart. When the the police officer shoots, move to the other direction of his aim to avoid being hit. You cannot evade and free yourself at the same time, so continue holding the Interact button after evading.
4 Once you've freed yourself from the cart, you'll automatically get the Emergency Exit Key and then a fire poker. Press the Attack button when prompted to resist.

Emergency Exit Door
When you finally gain complete control again, quickly run upstairs towards the Emergency Exit door on the second floor. Interact with the door and Grace will automatically use the key you obtained earlier. This ends the Grace part in Wrenwood.

Go After Victor

Walkthrough
1 After the cutscenes, you will now gain contol of Leon for the first time. Follow the path ahead until you're thrust into a fight with your first enemy. Continue forward and eliminate all the enemies you encounter.
2 On the intersection, turn to the right where you see the people running away and proceed to where they're coming from. When an enemy gets too close, press the Attack button to use a Melee weapon.

Wrenwood Green Herb
Be sure to pick up the Green Herb from the van with an open back door. It can restore a small amount of health when used.

Handgun Ammos
Pick up the Handgun Ammos on the ground. Continue following the path and use the Requiem gun when prompted, then switch your weapon once you've used it all up. There are no additional ammos for the Requiem in this section.
5 Keep running forward until you trigger a cutscene, ending the Leon part in Wrenwood.
