| Repeated Input Type | Hold |
| Aim Assist | Off |
| Reticle Deceleration | Personal Preference |
| Reset Scope Magnification | Off |
| Dot Sight Perspective | On |
It is recommended to use the setting the default movement type to walk to have more control during stealth sections and prevent accidentally running, which can cause enemies to quickly detect you.
Apart from that, setting the Repeated Input Type to Hold will help reduce the fatigue caused by rapid inputs during QTE sections. It's also good to set the Reset Scope Magnification setting to Off to make it easier to re-center your aim for follow-up shots.
| Control Type | Personal Preference |
|---|---|
| Button Configuration | Personal Preference |
| Controller Vibration | Personal Preference |
| Adaptive Triggers | Personal Preference |
| Deadzone and Sensitivity | Personal Preference |
The settings for controllers are determined by personal preference since there are no universally applicable settings for sensitivity. Consequently, these settings can vary from person to person.
| Key Configuration | Personal Preference |
|---|---|
| Keyboard Type | Personal Preference |
| Mouse Buttons Inversion | Personal Preference |
| Mouse Scroll Wheel Inversion | Personal Preference |
| Cursor Lock | On |
Many of the game's controls can be assigned to specific buttons, making it easy to access them on PC and offering a high level of input precision.
Apart from the cursor lock setting, PC controls are entirely up to user preference.
| Grace's Camera | First-person |
|---|---|
| Leon's Camera | Third-person |
| Camera Inversion | Personal Preference |
| Camera Wobble | 0 |
| Motion Sensor Function | 0 |
| Vertical Sensitivity | Personal Preference |
| Horizontal Sensitivity | Personal Preference |
We recommend using the default camera settings for Grace and Leon's cameras to provide the intended experience as designed by the developers.
However, it's perfectly acceptable to use a third-person camera to increase the field of view (FOV) of both characters, as there's no FOV slider. This makes it much easier to navigate your surroundings for exploration and combat.
