Is There New Game Plus?
No New Game Plus Mode
Similar to the more recent Resident Evil titles, RE Requiem does not have a traditional New Game Plus mode. Instead, after completing the game once, you're given the option to replay the main story with bonus content you unlock via the Special Content menu.
Special Content Unlocks Playthrough Modifiers
Special Content in RE Requiem includes special weapons and items that give you powerful bonuses while replaying the game's main story. This includes weapons like Grace's unbreakable knife or the option to play with Infinite Ammo.
To unlock Special Content, you'll need to either spend Completion Points (CP) that you earn by finishing challenges during the main story, or by fulfilling certain objectives as you play the game (like finding all Mr. Raccoon memoriams).
Special Content Can be Disabled
While Special Content bonuses are indeed very powerful, they are entirely optional. A lot of the game-breaking options can be disabled even after you've unlocked them.
For example, all of the "cheat" bonuses like infinite ammo, infinite hatchet durability, and infinite RPG-7 ammo can be disabled via the Options menu after you've purchased them.
