This is a guide on all the missables and points of no return in Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). Learn more about all the locations' point of no return, as well as what collectibles you can miss!
Points of No Return
- Care Center
- Care Center Basement
- Care Center Courtyard - Rooftop
- East Raccoon City
- Raccoon City Center
Care Center

The point of no return for the Care Center (excluding the basement) is when you activate the elevator mechanism in the VIP Suite in the Care Center Courtyard. After doing this, you'll be locked in a linear path all the way until reaching Raccoon City.
Be sure to collect everything in the Care Center and its courtyard before activating the elevator in the VIP Suite.
Care Center Basement
The point of no return for the Care Center Basement is technically taking the elevator back up to the Care Center. After doing this, you won't be able to return to the Care Center.
Being specific, the soft point of no return would be putting in all 3 plugs and turning on the power of the machine. This will lead to the next section, where a bunch of zombies wake up, and you'll be locked into carrying Emily, so it's best to get everything before turning on the power.
Care Center Courtyard - Rooftop
The Care Center Courtyard Rooftop's point of no return would be Leon jumping down from the rooftop to follow Grace.
Shoot the Mr. Raccoon Memoriam
Before doing this, make sure to shoot the Mr. Raccoon Memoriam across the way using your rifle. This is the only missable in this area.
All Mr. Raccoon Statue Locations
East Raccoon City - Before Blowing Up the Gate
The point of no return in East Raccoon City is interacting with the gate to blow it up. Before proceeding, it’s best to save your progress and make any final purchases at the supply box at Central Camp first before leaving.
Raccoon City Center
Raccoon City Center's point of no return is dropping into the hole in the Orphanage, after defeating Mr. X. After dropping into the hole, there's no way back up to return to Raccoon City Center's map.
What are Missables?
Everything is Missable
Everything is missable since there's no chapter reload and you can't go back to previous areas after crossing a point of no return.
Though, since files and collectibles count your progress across all save files. You can just reload into a previous save to get them.
