Plant 43 is the giant mutated plant guarding the entrance to ARK in Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). Read on to learn how to beat Plant 43 in this guide!

Shoot the Open Bud

Shoot the Open Bud

You can only damage Plant 43 once its bud its fully opened. Use SMGs or Shotguns once it opens up to deal high damage in a short duration. Its HP is not as high as the Tyrant, so Requiem is not needed for this fight.

Move Around to Dodge

Move around the small fighting arena to dodge the vines and the main bud. The vines only attack straight to where they are pointed at, which is on the side of the arena. You will know the vines are about to attack once they extend upwards.

The main bud, on the other hand, can attack you anywhere in the arena, but you can dodge it by going to the left or right.

Shoot the Explosive Tanks at the End

Shoot the Explosive Tanks

After dealing enough damage against Plant 43, a container full of explosive tanks will appear below it. Shoot them immediately with any gun to blow them up along with Plant 43.

The boss fight will end after this, allowing Leon to enter the ARK faciliity shortly after a cutscene.
