1. Obtain Marie's Doll from Collection and Testing in the Care Center Courtyard - Facility Level. Store it in your item box. 2. Decode the RNA sequence of the Severed Hand (GGC-AAG-AUA-ACG-UGU-CAU). 3. Complete the game once then start a new playthrough. 4. Progress the story until you rescue Emily from the Care Center Basement. 5. Analyze the Severed Hand again to unlock the Sun Puzzle in the Lead Researcher's Office (Care Center 2F). 6. Bring Emily and Marie's Doll (from your item box) to the Sun Puzzle. Enter the code, Sun, Sun, Star > Sun, Moon, Star > Sun, Moon, Sun > Moon, Star, Moon to complete the challenge. |

Moon Puzzles require you to press the buttons in a particular order to solve them.
To solve the Chairman's Office puzzle, enter Moon, Sun, Star, Moon. To solve the Lead Researcher's Office puzzle, enter Star, Sun, Moon, Sun.

To solve the Organ Transport Box puzzle, lower switches 2 and 5 only, then set the rightmost switch to the second level / middle layer, and lastly set the dial to HAND, then back to AUTO. You do not need to do this in a specific order.
Successfully solving the organ transport box puzzle will give you access to the key item, Artificial Lungs, which is available inside.
Organ Transport Box Puzzle Solution

Place the Artificial Lungs and Artificial Heart in the body on the examination table in the Examination Room. Note that upon solving this puzzle, the zombie will come alive and attack you.

The Blood Specimen (Denatured) is found in the Blood Lab and is solved by selecting the second square from the left.
The Blood Specimen (Converged) can be found in the Ward Office, which needs the ID Wristband (Level 1) to unlock. To solve the puzzle, click the top middle square first and then the second square from the bottom.
The Blood Specimen (Reversible) is also found in the Blood Lab but is locked behind a security door that also requires the ID Wristband (Level 1). To solve the puzzle, click the bottom-left corner square first, and then the middle square, then click the top-right square, and then the second square from the top one.
Analyzer Blood Specimen Puzzle Solutions

The Hourglass found in the VIP Suite can be examined to find a clue related to the Severed Hand. To solve it, remove the screws to free the actual hourglass. Then, flip it upside down to get the sand to fall and reveal the hidden code on one of its faces.

Enter the code RRR on the Briefcase found in the S.T.A.R.S. Office on the second floor of the Raccoon Police Department (RPD). This will reward you with the Power Shades Charm, which Leon can attach to the Requiem.

Barry's scavenger hunt can be solved by getting Jojo's Locker Key from the TV in the R.P.D. Operations Room (climb the wooden pallets to reach it) then using it to open the locker in the West Office. Inside, you'll find the S.T.A.R.S. Emblem Charm.
