How to Open Organ Transport Box
Follow these steps in order to open the Organ Transport Box:

| 5 | Set the dial to HAND |

1. Open the Panel to Access the Controls
From your inventory, examine the Organ Transport Box. Rotate the box until you see the rectangular panel, then select it to reveal the switches.
2. Lower Switch 2
The first thing you should do upon opening the panel is to lower switch number 2, which is the yellow switch on the left.
3. Lower Switch 5
After lowering switch number 2, lower switch number 5, which is the yellow switch on the right.
4. Raise Rightmost Switch to Second Level
After switches 2 and 5 have been lowered, raise the larger black switch on the right to the middle section.
5. Set Dial to Hand
Then, Set the dial to the Hand label by twisting it clockwise.
6. Set Dial to Auto
Finally, set the dial to Auto by twisting it downwards counterclockwise. Note that you do not need to do this in a specific order.
Successfully solving the organ transport box puzzle will give you access to the key item inside, the Artificial Lungs.
Prepare for an Upcoming Combat Encounter
If you are out of Ammo, make sure to grab the bullets from the box at the end of the room. After taking the Organ Transport Box, a large bulldozer will break through the wall when you try to leave the garage. Shoot the Zombie driving the bulldozer to stop him from killing you.

Solution Found on the Notebook
The organ transport box code location is on a note found inside the leatherbound notebook. You can obtain this by solving the Sun Puzzle Box in the Lead Researcher's Office.

The Organ Transport Box can be found in the Garage of the Care Center. To access this area, you will need the ID Wristband (Level 1), which you can get from the corpse outside the Lead Researcher's Office in the East Wing.
After getting the wristband, enter the garage and walk to the very back, where you will see the Organ Transport Box on the back of the truck.

Opening the Organ Transport Box unlocks the Artificial Lungs, which is a required Key Item along with the Artificial Heart that is cruicial to solving the Organless Corpse puzzle in the Examination Room.
