you really should, if anything, not attack your own ally when they are glohmed, as they are still your teammate and would be a waste of resources if you actually damage your teammate.
Another detail that also is prominent to learn if it happens: if you accidentally mess up and one of the brothers gets Glohmed, Zokket can control them and have them attack the other brother not affected. This situation is special. When countering the attacks; DO NOT WHACK THE AFFECTED BROTHER. If you managed to counter all attacks up to disarming them of the hammer, and do NOT attack them any further: they'll break the Glohm status and return to your side, much to Zokket's shock.
One really important detail that isn't included in this: zokket occasionally powers up, making some patterns more difficult. One really cheesy strat you can use is using a boo biscuit right before this power up, skipping the phases where it powers up.
