How to Get Wheat
Steps in Wheat Production
Wheat is vital in the production of Bread. To farm Wheat, you need to build a farmhouse and a field that is well suited for the production of Wheat.
Check Emmer Fertility of the land
The first step to making Wheat is to check out which areas have high fertility before plotting your field. The view options will be on the right side of your screen. The greener the area, the better it is for planting Wheat.
Build a Farm and Farmhouse
The next step is building a field and farmhouse. It is highly recommended that you build your farm on top of land with high Emmer fertility.
Plant and Harvest Wheat
Click on your field and choose Wheat as its crop, then assign some families to your farmhouse. The more families you have working in the farmhouse, the faster you can harvest your Wheat.

Trade for Wheat Directly

If you have a surplus of Regional Wealth, you can opt to build a Trading Post and import Wheat directly. This can help supply Wheat to your Farmhouse, especially if your settlement does not have a large enough area fertile for Wheat.
Wheat will cost 12 Regional Wealth to Import, which can be lowered to 2 with the Better Deals development.
When to Plant Wheat?
Start in Spring
It's best to plant Wheat during Spring Season, which happens around Mar - May. This is the best season to start stocking up on resources, so make use of it! You can check what season you're in at the lower right section of your screen.

Converted to Grain to Produce Flour, Which Can Then Be Used to Make Bread
Wheat is used to make Grain in your Farmhouse, which is then converted to Flour in your Windmills, and lastly baked in Communal Ovens or Bakery Extensions to finally be Bread.
Can be Exported for Regional Wealth
You can also export Wheat to get some more Regional Wealth. Prices may fluctuate depending on the supply and demand within a given territory.
