Lore Profile
One of the three orphans aboard the White Base during the One Year War, Katz would eventually grow up to try to emulate Amuro Ray, not realizing the toil the latter had gone through as a teenage pilot. Katz's time came during the Gryps Conflict, where he fought alongside Amuro Ray to rescue the operatives of the anti-Titans group Karaba (headed by Hayato Kobayashi, his adoptive father). During the conflict, however, he did not expect to meet the Titans pilot Sara Zabiarov, and from there he would enter a series of events that would lead to his life changing forever...
